BFA DODOMA CHARITY EVENT.
The BFA Dodoma Chapter held on May 25, 2024, at Zanka Primary School was a successful outreach initiative aimed at providing essential school materials to pupils and fostering a supportive environment for interaction and advice sharing. The event was successful with the participation of 20 members of various Universities and 70 pupils, Aiming to enrich their educational experience and personal development.
OBJECTIVES:
- To distribute school materials to 80 pupils, including all necessary stationery, to the pupils of Zanka Primary School.
- To create a safe and interactive environment where 80 pupils and 120 BFA members could engage and exchange life experiences and advice.
- To increase awareness about the BFA and its mission among the 120 BFA members.
- To foster a sense of community through shared activities such as gift-giving, cutting cakes, and communal dining.
EVENT ACTIVITIES:
- Distribution of school stationery packages to the pupils.
- Interactive sessions between BFA members and pupils, focusing on life advice and personal experiences.
- Informative talks to educate the Members about the BFA.
- Cutting of cakes and communal dining to foster a sense of unity and celebration.
CHALLENGES AND OUTCOMES:
The event faced several challenges:
- Ensuring the equitable distribution of school materials among the pupils due to the increase in the number of pupils.
- Managing time effectively to accommodate all planned activities within the schedule.
